PMOS – Basketball Model Upgrade
We are excited to announce a big upgrade to our pre-match basketball model that is planned to be released in the week commencing 23rd of October, just in time for this year’s NBA season. This upgrade brings huge quality improvements to our pre-match basketball odds, a better harmonization of the odds for all the basketball betting markets.
CTRL Changes – Basketball
From the internal analysis we conducted we are seeing that the most frequent method to adjust odds in the CTRL interface in a basketball event is through the Handicap market, which is why we chose to support it in the first iteration together with other adjustments done either through the Total or 1st Half Total markets. However, in the first iteration, our models won’t be able to support the manual and semi-auto odds adjustments in our CTRL interface which are done through the Matchwinner and 1×2 markets. We will continue to support the odds adjustments for Totals, Handicap and 1st Half Total as model driving markets. So, please note that you will only be able to adjust the basketball odds via Ctrl using the Handicap and Total markets from the week commencing 23rd of October. We are working on bringing additional capabilities around manual adjustments and are looking forward to receiving your feedback on this change.
