We would like to inform you that we will extend the testing phase on our integration environment by additional 2 weeks as the change mentioned below was not yet testable for all clients in our integration environment. To ensure a smooth roll out, the change explained below will be executed in our Production Environment on 14th October 2024 at 07:00 UTC (instead of September 30, 2024, at 07:00 UTC):
Sport event and stateful recoveries for our Live Odds product will no longer return the HTTP error response code 403 if you issue a recovery with an invalid match ID or for a match that you didn’t book. Instead, the HTTP success response code 202 will be returned.
In such a scenario, you will be notified via the Live Odds producer (AMQP) that the recovery has ended only via a <snapshot_complete> message, but without any additional odds_change, bet_stop or bet_settlement message as there were no messages to recover. Please note: With this change we increase the consistency between our services as recoveries in our Pre-Match product already follow that process. Hence, our SDK supports this recovery flow out of the box. Please review your implementation if you built logic for the HTTP response code 403, which won’t be returned from October 14, 2024 onwards.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by not routing the entire traffic to the new recovery logic in our integration environment yet.
